INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS

P4T contain a number of international partners who utilise the Partners4Technology business introduction service as part of their business development activities and support programmes. The P4T Alliance is a trusted network of partners who cooperate with each other to share information and provide 'introductions' to businesses and technology in their areas.

By becoming an international Partner you will help your community to develop important new international contacts in high tech business sectors of the future. You will be able to share information and best practice on technology start-ups and university links. You will also be able to discuss a wide variety of economic development issues such as how to develop a technology incubator in your community. I am sure that there will be a number of hot topic of conversation between partners.

Many of the international partners have been involved in the international technology and business cooperation exchange events - INTERTECH - which have been held in England in 2003, and 2004, Germany in 2005 and The Netherlands in 2007.  Many of the partners have formed excellent friendships and established links between their respective organisations. These friendships have lasted long after the event finished. Several partners are still in touch and exchanging links and invitations to participate in each others business and technology events. As a result they continue to work together to find new business and technology partners, alliances and manufacturing licensees for the benefit of SME's in their communities.

Actively participating as an international 'Partner' will also help promote your area as a destination for knowledge based investment. Hosting a future InterTech event will also give your community a great marketing opportunity to promote itself to the world and also allow you to work with like minded communities to share experiences on developing technology based businesses.
