As from the 1st of July 2008 we changed our main operating name from Partners4Technology International to The Partners4Business Network.

This change has been brought about by us listening to the needs of our members and partners. The origins of the network were founded in our work organising an annual INTERTECH conference and the sector focused 'Partners4' b2b cooperation events. Those events will continue and will seek to encourage and stimulate greater trans-national technology transfer and business 2 business cooperation.

Partners4Technology International was developed in 2004 as a global on-line 24/7 b2b networking or 'introduction' service for the technology related enterprises that attended our events. Today our database contains 625 companies and organisations from 36 different countries.

However, when we recently reviewed the P4T database we found that a good number of our members had no involvement in 'technology' and that the 'Partners4Business' club had become the most popular of the 19 different cluster clubs in P4T. So as from today the 1st of July 2008, the overall network will change its name to Partners4Business International.

However, all is not over for P4T as it will continue as one of the biggest of the 21 member interest groups operating within P4B.

I hope you agree that the development of P4T into the P4B network is in keeping with our corporate mantra of 'Helping to bring business together' and increasingly the 'think global but act local' philosophy. We are planning a number of product developments and member enhancements for P4B. So watch this space and please remember to check that your P4B business profile is up-to-date and interesting !
