Welcome to the May edition of our P4T newsletter and new member update.

A lot has happened since our April newsletter including the Durham Business School Big Weekend and our Partners4Innovation 2008 conference which was held in The University of Northampton on the 1st of May.

Both events were a great success with a number of P4T members and partners being involved. Both events also helped us to recruit a number of new members into the P4T network. To those people we say a big 'welcome' and we hope that you enjoy networking with the other P4T members around the world.

Our attention now turns to our next 2 business events which will be held in Indiana USA and Sunderland England.

1. Partners4Innovention 08 - 28-29 July, Indianapolis, USA.

P4T is delighted to be able to invite all P4T members and partners to attend the Indiana Health Industry Forum's annual conference INNOVENTION 08.

INNOVENTION 08 is aimed at bringing together 200-300 companies from across Indiana and the surrounding US States under the theme 'Improving the value of healthcare'. The event will include, for the first time, a delegate 'matchmaker' day on Monday the 28th July. This delegate to delegate networking session will encourage iner-trading and cooperation amongst the attending elegates. The event is using an Allancia event managenent system together with a DELNET meeting scheduling software package.

2. Partners4Automotive 2008 - 17-18 September, Sunderland, UK.

Our UK P4T partner - AMAP (or the Institute of Automotive and Manufacturing Advanced Practice) at the University of Sunderland - has confirmed they are to be the event 'Patron' for the first P4T conference aimed at businesses involved in the automotive sector.

The purpose of the 2 day event will be to highlight the issues and challenges that are facing companies involved in developing alternative fuel technologies for vehicle and transportation systems.

Over 100 industrialists and academics from the UK, Europe and from around the World are expected to attend the event which will be held on the university of Sunderland's magnificent Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St. Peters.

3. General Business News - P4T to become P4B !

Following a full business review which was undertaken by our parent organisation - Allancia Limited - in partnership with many of our P4T international partners, we are pleased to be able to advise you that as from the 1st of June 2008, Partners4Technology International will be changing its main operating name and branding to 'Partners4Business International'.

It is felt that this change will better reflect the needs and business interests of the existing membership and partners, plus it will provide an opportunity for us to expand the range of services that we are able to offer which in turn will help to expand the number of businesses and business people involved in the network.

P4T will however continue to operate as one of the existing 19 different interest groups or 'cluster clubs' within the overall new P4BI network.

P4T members will be pleased to note that there will be no charge to them in Allancia making this change to the P4T / P4B network.
